Since 1989 Elmore has stayed true to their founding mission of supporting people with multiple and complex needs. Elmore’s clients often have multiple separate support needs such as mental health issues, homelessness and rough sleeping, substance misuse, offending, physical disability, self-harm, learning difficulties, domestic abuse, sex working or experience of abuse and neglect.

The Challenge

We were tasked with providing a new website for Elmore, and a host of other marketing collateral. The key was that our work needed to resonate with stakeholders, staff and (most importantly) clients alike.

When we took the project on, the charity had understandably had a variety of different logos and brand assets from their 30+ year history. This meant the first step was to bring consistency to the brand, and modernise the associated visuals.

Additional priorities were adding new functionality such as self-referral forms, podcasts, dynamic chart data; and providing new more vibrant and positive imagery. The ability for the charity to be able to better manage their own website and marketing in-house was also required.

The Solution

We devised a new visual identity for Elmore that consolidated all of their existing logos into a cleaner and more contemporary mark, that did not lose the coveted leaf motif/icon from previous iterations. Similarly, their colour palette and typography was updated to be both accessible and attractive.

From here we began updating all of their marketing collateral, and devising a full suite of social assets and artwork for their podcasts. No booklet or report was left untouched! Similarly, with a difficulty of accessing clients, we curated a stock library of royalty-free photos that were in line with the new more optimistic brand image.

With the website, we built Elmore’s new site from the ground up - incorporating all of the new assets, and adding in all of the functionality they required.
